London, 11 July 2022: ConferWith have won the Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) 20K PITCH//IT brief at this year’s MAD//Fest. This innovation challenge was set to discover new ways to reach consumers with personalised healthcare, and WBA chose ConferWith’s one-to-one live online video shopping platform for a trial in their outlets.
ConferWith is a video shopping platform giving retailers a better way to connect with customers. In real-time, retailers can address concerns, provide higher levels of customer service, and offer unique and immersive experiences. The fully branded shopping platform lets retailers share product images, video demos and more. ConferWith is currently part of the shopping experience with several major brands, including Halfords, Snug, and Hughes.
Personalised healthcare services solution
ConferWith entered WBA’s £20k PITCH//IT at MAD//Fest with a pitch for how Boots can boost one-to-one engagement. WBA was looking to leverage technology and deliver more personalised healthcare services to customers, and their involvement with MAD//Fest opened the company up to pitches from innovative firms that help them connect customers with stores, better understand needs, and customise products and services.
The judges selected ConferWith as the best solution for the challenge facing Boots. In the current market, they understand the need to leverage technology that can deliver more personalised healthcare to customers, and chose ConferWith as a tool that helps the business better understand the needs of customers, offer the chance to customise products and services, and connect consumers to Boots stores.
PITCH//IT ‘No Guts, No Glory’
PITCH//IT is one of the lead events at MAD//Fest London, the UK’s biggest marketing festival. The 2022 event was themed ‘No Guts, No Glory’ and welcomed over 8000 big brands, startups, agencies, media owners, investors, and tech innovators. The annual event took place from 5th to 7th July 2022 at the Old Truman Brewery Car Park, London, bringing together over 8000 brands and delegates.
Alex Cheeseman, VP Growth, ConferWith said, “With the pandemic changing the way people shop, a seamless digital experience is more important than ever. Whilst we are working with AI, our technology maintains the human-to-human connection that people still want and need.”
Serge Milbank, Founder, ConferWith, said, “Boots were looking for pioneering tech that not only connects the store with the customer but also provides a personalised service. ConferWith offers exactly that. The seamless integration of ConferWith and Boots will connect customers to experts who can support their health and wellbeing.”
