Confer With are looking for an app store optimisation (ASO) specialist to assist with our expansion across a diverse range of marketplaces. The role will manage all of the marketing efforts for our integrations and key platform partners.  The role is responsible for strategy, planning, and executing ASO practices within the organisation.  

The Role 

App Store Optimisation Strategy 

  • Develop a strategy for an plan to rollout best practices for executing App store optimisation (ASO) and eCommerce platform integrations inside eCommerce marketplaces 
  • Hands-on experience in on-page metadata & off-page metadata factors including leading storefront metadata optimization strategies 
  • Identify high potential 3rd party integrations and work with them to get onboarded into our ecosystem; 
  • Stay abreast of algorithm and App Store/Google Play/other marketplace changes and conduct research and analysis to inform key stakeholders on implications and required action items 
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the landscape of eCommerce platforms and the ever-changing nature of the eCommerce market 

Customer experience planning 

  • Capture key product use case information from customers, internal customer-facing teams, and other stakeholders 
  • Discover and validate customer stories surrounding eCommerce needs with a view to executing product changes to support growth 
  • Work with the product and marketing team to ensure the user journey to installing Confer With is easy and straightforward 

Creative and design for App Store Optimisation (ASO) 

  • Coordinate with internal and external design resources on creative assets for each marketplace integration 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product and external teams to create powerful listings and best in breed marketing plans 
  • Deliver ongoing paid campaign management ensuring optimal performance and delivery, constantly exceeding KPI expectations 
  • Ensure localization best practices for global marketplaces and app store integrations.   
  • Work with partners and integrations to develop and execute joint marketing plans and strategies 

Performance measurement 

  • Establish and evaluate the marketing performance of our integrations across App stores, marketplaces and bespoke integrations; 
  • Initiate, develop, execute, and track growth testing based on hypotheses you develop to improve CTR, install rate, and conversion rate across all integrations 
  • Monitor and report on keyword rankings, install rate, and effectiveness of experiments on our key markets 

Desired Skills 

  • Experience managing campaigns in both Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Shopify App marketplace or other app marketplaces 
  • Paid advertising experience and app store optimization on various platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Apple and more 
  • Experience working with eCommerce platforms like Shopify (or other) eCommerce integrations or implementations 
  • Experience managing and handling creative assets & metadata copy for platforms, as well as for A/B testing 
  • Ability to communicate results using data 
  • Writing and creative media skills 
  • Strong knowledge of customer experience within the eCommerce ecosystem 
  • Understanding of headless commerce 
  • Upbeat personality with the ability to engage with and influence technical and non-technical personnel at all levels 
  • Ability to work with distributed teams 
  • In-depth knowledge of keyword research & ASO and ability to align SEO strategies to support ASO 
  • An ability to take in new information quickly and apply to marketing activity.
